About Us
Many Revolutions is born out of the mind and heart of an 8 year old boy, his brother and his father. This 8 year old is Connor Tullis. The idea germinated while on a 37 mile bicycle to a visit close friends whose mother died from cancer. The Tullis boys (Connor, his brother, and his dad) decided to chart out a much more ambitious ride: across Michigan from Lake Michigan to Lake Erie. The ride is being used to fight cancer. Connor does not want other children to lose their parents, friends, and loved ones to cancer.
The bike ride will be more than 200 miles. From one end of the trip to the other, each wheel of the Tullis boys' bikes will turn more than 150,000 times. All-in-all, their wheels will revolve nearly a million times. The Tullis boys hope that each small rotation will add up to a revolution resulting in a cure for cancer. Given this, the Tullis boys have decided to call their effort Many Revolutions.
Connor and Keenan are making presentations to schools, churches, Cub Scout groups, and service organizations. Their efforts are being covered in both newspapers and on television. Support is coming from across the country and even internationally.
Connor has chosen four organizations to benefit from monies raised:
- Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer
- The Lance Armstrong Foundation
- Give Kids the World (a wish granting organization benefiting children with terminal disease)
- Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
Your help to spread the word and to support this good work is very much appreciated. Connor is striving to reach 50,000 people with his message and to raise $25,000.
